Westcountry Storage Solutions have taken a lease on a 1.58 acre site to the South of Avocet Road, Sowton Industrial Estate, Exeter. The site was marketed at an asking rental of £76,000 p.a. which equates to a rate of £1.10 p.s.f. and comprises a flat level fenced and gated area and one of the last remaining undeveloped plots on the estate. The site had previously been used by Flyparks as a car parking facility linked to their Exeter terminal drop off point.
The new tenant intends to develop the site in conjunction with their other storage facilities around the South West. Their existing yard in Exeter at Exmouth junction has been earmarked for residential development in the near future and will be closing over the next few months. The company also has sites at The Old Quarry Canton Cross, Ashburton and The Energy Park
